FX-3 Ferro Probe is a precision differential induction magnetometer
designed to locate survey markers, magnets, pipes, valves, well casings,
septic tanks and other iron and steel objects.
The Fisher FX-3 has two sensors that respond only to the magnetic field of iron objects, ignoring all other metals (copper, aluminum, brass, etc.)
