The Fisher M-66 provides ultra-sensitive, uncanny accuracy and maximum ground penetration. These features combine to eliminate any guesswork in pinpointing "hidden" metal objects. Soil (especially when wet) foliage and asphalt are often somewhat conductive but less conductive than metals. The M-66 can tune out the semi-conductive ground, minerals, and vegetation, which can provide false responses for some metal detectors.
